The short answer

Juicebox pricing has four plans. Free is $0 with limited searches. Starter is $99 per seat a month on annual billing or $119 month to month, with 500 contact credits and 500 export credits. Growth is $179 per seat a month annually or $199 monthly, with 1,500 of each per seat and a hard cap of five seats. Business is a custom annual quote with unlimited contact credits. Juicebox Agents are a separate $199 a month per agent, and each agent comes with unlimited contact and email credits. For most teams of two to five, that agent line decides the real bill more than the seat price does.

Juicebox pricing, plan by plan

These figures come from Juicebox's own pricing page, read on 10 September 2026, with the monthly and yearly toggles both checked. All prices are in USD and per seat unless the row says otherwise.

Plan Annual billing Monthly billing Contact credits Export credits Seats and mailboxes
Free $0 $0 A handful, one-off None 1 seat, limited searches
Starter $99 per seat a month $119 per seat a month 500 a month (email and phone) 500 a month 1 seat, 1 mailbox
Growth $179 per seat a month $199 per seat a month 1,500 per seat a month 1,500 per seat a month Up to 5 seats, 3 mailboxes each
Business Custom quote Not offered Unlimited 2,250 per seat a month Custom seats, 6 mailboxes each, ATS or CRM integration
Juicebox Agent (add-on) $199 per agent a month, on any paid plan Unlimited Not stated Shareable with any user in your organization

Two details on that page are worth slowing down for. The toggle advertises "15% off" for yearly billing, but the discount is not the same on both plans. Starter drops from $119 to $99, which is about 17%. Growth drops from $199 to $179, which is almost exactly 10%. If you are committing a year up front to save money, the saving on the plan most teams buy is smaller than the badge suggests.

The second detail is the seat ceiling. Growth says "Add up to 5 seats", and Business is "Available on annual only" with no published price. Your sixth recruiter moves you off the rate card completely.

How much does Juicebox cost per year?

On annual billing a single Starter seat is $1,188 a year and a single Growth seat is $2,148. Paying month to month raises those to $1,428 and $2,388. For a team, multiply by seats: three Growth seats on annual billing come to $6,444 a year, and the maximum five come to $10,740.

Add an agent and the total moves by $2,388 a year per agent. That is the number most pricing roundups leave out, because they price the seat and treat the agent as a feature. It is not a feature. It is a second product with its own price, and on the current page it carries the most generous allowance Juicebox sells below the Business tier.

Juicebox agent pricing: the cheapest route to unlimited contact credits

Here is the arithmetic that changes how a small team should buy Juicebox. A Growth seat at $179 a month gives one recruiter 1,500 contact credits. A Juicebox Agent at $199 a month comes with unlimited contact credits and unlimited email credits, can be set to auto-shortlist or auto-email, and can be shared with anyone in your organization.

So compare two ways of equipping a three-person team on annual billing:

Setup Monthly cost Contact credits What you give up
3 Growth seats $537 4,500 a month (1,500 per seat) Nothing on the seat side, but a hard cap on reveals
3 Starter seats plus 1 agent $496 1,500 on the seats, unlimited on the agent Talent insights and the extra mailboxes that come with Growth
3 Growth seats plus 1 agent $736 4,500 on the seats, unlimited on the agent Nothing, at the highest price of the three

The Starter-plus-agent setup is $41 a month cheaper than three Growth seats and removes the reveal ceiling for the work the agent does. The honest caveat is in that last phrase. Juicebox lists the unlimited credits as agent features, so they cover the searches and outreach the agent runs, not every manual reveal a recruiter makes from a Starter seat. Before you buy on this basis, ask Juicebox in writing whether a recruiter's own reveals draw on the agent's allowance or on the seat's. The answer decides whether this is a clever purchase or just a cheaper one.

Juicebox is not alone in moving this way. More of the software market now sells a named agent for a job rather than another seat, and if your team is weighing AI agents priced per agent across other functions too, the same test applies everywhere: what is metered, and who is the meter attached to.

Juicebox cost per contact credit, against the rest of the category

Price per seat is the least useful comparison in sourcing software, because the seat is not what runs out. Contact credits are. Dividing each published price by its published allowance gives a unit cost you can actually compare.

Plan Price per month Allowance Cost per credit
Juicebox Growth, annual $179 1,500 contact credits per seat About 11.9 cents
Juicebox Growth, monthly $199 1,500 contact credits per seat About 13.3 cents
Juicebox Starter, annual $99 500 contact credits About 19.8 cents
Juicebox Starter, monthly $119 500 contact credits About 23.8 cents
Loxo Professional, annual $199 per user 2,500 credits per seat, pooled About 8 cents per credit, but a Loxo credit meters agent work, not contacts

Growth is the better buy per credit by a wide margin: it costs 81% more than Starter per seat and carries three times the allowance. If one recruiter reveals more than about 900 contacts a month, Growth is cheaper than Starter even before you count the extra mailboxes. Below that, Starter is fine.

The Loxo row is there because it is the comparison people most often get wrong. Loxo's credit is a unit of agent work (screening, evaluating, outreach, a completed search) rather than a revealed contact, so its 8 cents is not directly comparable with Juicebox's 11.9. We break that down on our Loxo pricing page, and the two are compared head to head in Loxo vs Juicebox, including why pooled credits are worth more than their number suggests.

Where Juicebox pricing stops working

Juicebox is priced for individuals and small teams, and it is good value there. The trouble starts at the edges.

Recruiter number six. Growth caps at five seats. Business has no public price and is annual only, so a team that grows mid-year cannot plan its next budget from the rate card. If you expect to pass five recruiters within twelve months, ask for the Business quote before you sign the Growth plan, not after.

Overage. Juicebox does not publish what happens when a Starter or Growth seat runs out of contact credits in a month. Ask whether you can buy top-ups, what they cost, and whether unused credits roll over. None of those answers is on the page.

Your ATS. ATS or CRM integration is listed under Business, not Growth. Juicebox is a sourcing and outreach layer that sits on top of your applicant tracking system, so if your recruiters need shortlisted candidates to land in that system without copying them across by hand, check which plan that requires for your specific ATS.

Is Juicebox worth it for a US recruiting team?

For a solo recruiter or an agency of two to five people who mainly need a better search engine and a way to reach people, yes. Natural-language search across a large people index, published prices and a free plan to test the index against your market make it one of the lower-risk purchases in the category. Run your three hardest open roles through the free tier first. If the results include people you recognize as good, the index knows your market and the paid plan will earn its cost.

Where it is weaker is anything that happens after the shortlist. Juicebox finds and contacts people. It does not replace the screening judgment, the interview scheduling or the system of record. Teams comparing it with LinkedIn often discover that the cheaper seat buys a similar pool of people with different reach, which we cover in Juicebox vs LinkedIn Recruiter. If the choice is between sourcing tools, Juicebox vs Gem and SeekOut vs Juicebox set out the credit allowances side by side.

The per-role alternative to buying seats and agents

Every option above prices a person or an agent by the month. If what you actually want is a ranked shortlist for a specific open role, you can pay for that instead.

HireAgent bills per open role rather than per seat, at $299 a month for up to 3 roles, $799 for up to 10 with ATS integration, and $1,999 for high-volume teams and agencies. It sources candidates against your structured criteria, screens and ranks them into an explainable shortlist with the evidence for each score attached, drafts personalized outreach and books interviews, with candidate consent and AI disclosure. A human makes every hiring decision. Our candidate sourcing tool page shows how the sourcing step works, and the full market is priced in our survey of AI recruiting software pricing.

Common questions

How much does Juicebox AI cost? Juicebox Starter is $99 per seat a month billed annually or $119 monthly, and Growth is $179 per seat a month annually or $199 monthly. Business is a custom annual quote. Juicebox Agents are an extra $199 a month per agent on any paid plan. Prices read from juicebox.ai on 10 September 2026.

Does Juicebox have a free plan? Yes. The Free plan costs $0, includes limited searches and AI email templates, and lets you set up a Juicebox Agent. It carries only a few one-off contact credits and no exports, so it is a way to test the search index rather than a way to run a real search.

How much is a Juicebox agent? A Juicebox Agent is $199 a month per agent, added to any paid plan. Each agent includes unlimited contact credits and unlimited email credits, can be set to auto-email or auto-shortlist, and can be given to any user in your organization.

What happens when you run out of Juicebox credits? Juicebox does not publish overage or top-up pricing for Starter or Growth. Ask before you sign whether extra credits can be bought mid-month and at what price, or whether the only route is upgrading the plan or adding an agent.

Is Juicebox cheaper than LinkedIn Recruiter? Yes, on the seat. Juicebox Growth is $179 a month on annual billing, while LinkedIn Recruiter Lite is commonly charged around $170 a month with 30 InMails, and full Recruiter seats run into the thousands a year. The fairer comparison is reach and credits, not the seat price.
