Head to head

Pin vs Juicebox pricing, AI agents and contact credits per seat for recruiters

The short answer

Pin is cheaper than Juicebox for any team of two or more recruiters, and the two tie for a single seat. Both publish a $99 entry plan on annual billing with 500 contact credits. For teams, Pin Professional costs $135 per user a month annually ($179 monthly) with 1,000 credits and two AI agents per seat, while Juicebox Growth costs $179 annually ($199 monthly) with 1,500 contact credits, a five seat cap and AI agents sold separately at $199 per agent a month. Three recruiters pay $4,860 a year on Pin against $6,444 on Juicebox. Juicebox gives more contact credits per seat; Pin includes the agents and has no seat cap.

Pin Business Quoted by sales Custom Quoted by sales Everything in Professional plus unlimited seats, unlimited contact credits, unlimited AI agents, premium ATS integrations and a dedicated account manager. SSO, SAML and SCIM are not marked on any plan Larger recruiting teams that burn through credits. Ask whether SSO can be added, since the table shows it on no tier
Juicebox Starter Published price $99 per seat per month annual, $119 monthly Annual ($1,188 a year) or monthly ($1,428). One seat Unlimited searches and projects, 500 contact credits (email and phone), 500 export credits, email outreach with AI templates. No AI agents included; they are a separate add-on A single recruiter who wants plain-English search and a monthly option Pin does not offer at this price
Juicebox Growth Published price $179 per seat per month annual, $199 monthly Annual ($2,148 a seat a year) or monthly ($2,388). Up to 5 seats, paid per seat. The structured data also lists a two agent annual bundle at $300 a month An agent that runs in the background with unlimited contact credits and unlimited email credits, set to auto-email or auto-shortlist, shareable with any user in the organization Teams that would rather pay per agent than per seat. One agent shared by three Starter seats undercuts three Growth seats

Beyond the rate card

The agents, credits, mailboxes and integrations that change the invoice

The seat price is the smaller part of this decision. Whether the AI agents are inside the seat, how many contacts each seat can reveal and where the ATS connection sits move the annual bill more than the $44 gap between the two team seats.

AI agents

Included on Pin, $199 each on Juicebox

Pin includes 2 agents on Solo and 2 per user on Professional. Juicebox sells agents as an add-on at $199 per agent a month, each with unlimited contact and email credits and shareable across the organization. If the agents are the reason you are buying, Pin is cheaper for a small team; if one shared agent covers the whole desk, Juicebox can come out level.

Contact credits

1,000 a seat on Pin, 1,500 on Juicebox

Pin Professional prints 1,000 contact credits per seat a month on its card, while the structured data in the same page says 500, and each personal email, work email or phone number costs one credit. Juicebox Growth prints 1,500 contact credits (email and phone) plus 1,500 export credits per seat. Per credit, Juicebox Growth annual works out to 11.9 cents and Pin Professional annual to 13.5 cents, or 27 cents if the 500 figure is the real one.

ATS integration

Add-on on Pin, Business only on Juicebox

Pin's plan table marks ATS integration as an add-on on Solo and Professional, with no printed price, while its FAQ says it integrates with 120+ applicant tracking systems. Juicebox puts ATS or CRM integration on the quoted Business plan only. Neither published team plan pushes candidates into your ATS at the printed price.

Seat cap

None on Pin, 5 on Juicebox Growth

Juicebox Growth stops at five seats, so seat six moves the whole team to quoted Business. Pin Professional lists unlimited seats at $135 each.

Mailboxes

Pin 5 per user, Juicebox 3 per user

Pin Solo includes 1 mailbox and Professional 5 per user. Juicebox Growth includes 3 per user and Business 6. Mailboxes matter if you rotate sending domains to protect deliverability on cold outreach.

SSO and SCIM

Not on any published plan

Pin's table marks SSO/SAML and SCIM as not included on any of its four plans. Juicebox does not list SSO on its cards. Teams with an identity provider requirement should ask both vendors before a trial.

Annual discount

Pin 24.6%, Juicebox 10% to 17%

Pin calls its annual toggle 25% off and Professional drops from $179 to $135. Juicebox calls its toggle 15% off; Starter drops 16.8% and Growth only 10.1%. Pin Solo has no monthly option at all.

What teams actually pay

What each one actually costs, desk by desk

Published US prices multiplied out to a year, annual billing unless the row says monthly. Juicebox agents at the $199 a month printed on the card.

Scenario Pin or Juicebox HireAgent Worth knowing
One recruiter, annual billing Pin Solo $1,188 a year. Juicebox Starter $1,188 $1,794 a year (Solo, billed annually) for one seat and three open roles A dead heat on price and on credits (500 each). Pin includes two agents, Juicebox lets you pay monthly. HireAgent costs more because it screens and ranks against the brief, not just finds people.
One recruiter who will not prepay a year Juicebox Starter $1,428 a year. Pin Professional $2,148 (Solo is annual only) $3,588 a year (Solo, $299 a month billed monthly) The one shape where Juicebox wins clearly. A single recruiter who wants month to month on Pin has to step up to Professional.
Three recruiters, annual billing Pin Professional $4,860 a year. Juicebox Growth $6,444 $4,794 a year (Growth, billed annually) for three seats and ten open roles Pin is $1,584 a year cheaper and includes six agents. Juicebox gives 4,500 contact credits a month against Pin's 3,000. Three Juicebox Starter seats plus one shared agent cost $5,952.
Five recruiters, annual billing Pin Professional $8,100 a year. Juicebox Growth $10,740 $11,994 a year (Scale, billed annually) for ten seats Five is Juicebox Growth's ceiling. Pin is $2,640 a year cheaper with agents included; Juicebox is the only one of the two with 7,500 credits a month at a printed price.
Eight recruiters Pin Professional $12,960 a year. Juicebox Business quoted $11,994 a year (Scale, billed annually) for ten seats Past five seats Juicebox has no printed price. Pin keeps scaling at $135 a seat, and Pin Business is only needed if you outgrow 1,000 credits a seat.

Pin and Juicebox are both sourcing seats: a recruiter still writes the brief, reviews who the search returns, decides who is worth a message and works the replies. HireAgent plans scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume, and the agent screens and ranks every candidate against the brief with the evidence attached, so the useful comparison is recruiter hours per shortlist rather than credits per seat.

What each vendor says about the other

Both vendors publish a head-to-head page, and both rank for this search. Pin's version, which says it was last verified in September 2026, describes Juicebox Growth as "up 81% since April 2024" and its seat cap as having "fell from 10 to 5". We cannot check the history, but today's Juicebox card does show Growth at $179 a seat annually with "Add up to 5 seats", so the current figures Pin quotes are accurate.

Pin's comparison also says Pin has "ATS integration on every paid plan". Its own pricing table, read on 5 October 2026, marks ATS integration as an add-on on both Solo and Professional, with no price printed. The two pages disagree, and the pricing table is the one you will be invoiced from, so ask for the add-on price in writing.

There is a second contradiction inside Pin's pricing page itself. The Professional card promises 1,000 contact credits per seat a month, while the structured data in the same page describes Professional as "500 contact lookup credits per user per month" and says ATS integration is included. Juicebox has a smaller version of the same problem: its structured data lists Growth annual at $159, while both cards show $179. Our Pin pricing and Juicebox pricing breakdowns cover each card in full.

Is Pin cheaper than Juicebox?

For a team, yes. Pin Professional costs $135 per user a month on annual billing against $179 for Juicebox Growth, a $44 gap per seat or $528 a recruiter a year. On monthly billing the gap is $20 ($179 against $199). Pin also includes two AI agents per seat, which Juicebox sells at $199 each.

For one recruiter, no. Pin Solo and Juicebox Starter are both $99 a month on annual billing with 500 contact credits. Pin Solo cannot be bought monthly, while Juicebox Starter can at $119, so a single recruiter who will not prepay a year pays less on Juicebox.

The comparison flips if you count contact credits instead of seats. Juicebox Growth reveals 1,500 contacts a seat a month for $179, which is 11.9 cents a credit. Pin Professional reveals 1,000 for $135, which is 13.5 cents. A desk that reveals contacts by the thousand and does not need agents can find Juicebox the cheaper tool per contact.

Agents included or agents as a line item

This is the real difference between the two rate cards. Pin treats agents as part of the seat: two on Solo, two per user on Professional, unlimited on Business. The agents spend the same contact credits a recruiter does, so heavy agent use runs into the 500 or 1,000 credit limit.

Juicebox treats agents as a separate product at $199 per agent a month, and gives each agent unlimited contact credits and unlimited email credits. An agent can be shared with any user in the organization. That opens a pricing shape Pin does not have: three Juicebox Starter seats at $99 plus one shared agent costs $496 a month, $41 less than three Growth seats, with unlimited contacts on whatever the agent runs.

So the useful question is how your desk works. If every recruiter wants an agent running their own searches, Pin is cheaper. If one agent running a few searches all day covers the team, the Juicebox add-on can be the better buy. Our Loxo vs Juicebox comparison shows the same agent pricing against a vendor that bundles agents into a $199 seat.

Which is better for a recruiting agency, Pin or Juicebox?

For a growing agency, Pin is usually the better fit on paper. It has no seat cap, five mailboxes per recruiter for outbound, a shared inbox and agents in every seat at $135. Juicebox Growth stops at five seats, and seat six moves the whole team onto a quoted plan.

Juicebox fits the agency that lives on contact volume and plain-English search. 1,500 contact and 1,500 export credits per seat is the larger allowance at a printed price, and its PeopleGPT search builder writes the query from a plain-English description, with no Boolean needed. Juicebox says on its pricing page that 25,000 teams, recruiters and hiring managers use it.

Neither gives you an ATS connection at the published team price. If candidates need to land in Bullhorn, Greenhouse or another system of record automatically, price the Pin add-on or the Juicebox Business plan before you decide. For the wider field, our guide to AI sourcing tools for agencies prices the other options the same way.

Pin alternative or Juicebox alternative for screening, not just sourcing

Pin and Juicebox both answer the question "who should I contact?". They return people who match a search, with contact data and a sequence to send. The next step, deciding which of those 80 profiles actually meets the client's must-haves, is still the recruiter's job on both.

That step is where HireAgent works. You describe the role, and the agent sources candidates, screens each one against every must-have with the line from the profile that proves it, ranks the pool, drafts personalized outreach and books interviews. Plans start at $299 a month, or $1,794 a year billed annually, with Growth at $4,794 a year for three seats and ten open roles including Greenhouse and Lever sync. It is priced close to a three-seat Pin team, and the output is a ranked shortlist instead of a contact list.

If you are leaving Juicebox specifically, our Juicebox alternative page lists the priced options, and candidate screening software covers tools built for the screening half.

Five things to get in writing before you sign either one

One, from Pin, whether Professional includes 1,000 or 500 contact credits per seat, since the card and the page data disagree. Two, the price of the ATS integration add-on on Solo and Professional, since the table prints none.

Three, from Juicebox, the annual Growth price, since the cards say $179 and the page data says $159. Four, the Business price per seat for your headcount if you have six or more recruiters. Five, from both, what happens to unused credits at month end and the renewal price after year one, which neither page states.

Two sourcing seats that price the AI differently

Pin puts two AI agents inside every paid seat and meters contacts with credits. Juicebox gives each seat more credits and sells agents as a separate line with unlimited contacts. Either way the output is a list of people to review. HireAgent returns a ranked shortlist instead: every candidate scored against each must-have in your brief, with the line from the profile that proves it, and outreach drafted for the ones worth contacting.
