Head to head

Loxo vs Recruit CRM pricing, cost per seat and where each one puts the AI

The short answer

Recruit CRM is the cheaper seat at the bottom and the more expensive one at the top. Its US prices are $95 per user a month for Pro, $135 for Business and $215 for Enterprise on annual billing, or $109, $159 and $259 month to month. Loxo is $149 for Core and $199 for Professional, billed annually and paid up front. So Recruit CRM Business undercuts Loxo Core by $14 a seat, but Loxo Professional, which adds an 850M+ profile sourcing graph and the full agent workforce, costs $16 less than Recruit CRM Enterprise. Many roundups still quote Recruit CRM at $85, $125 and $165, which is the old rate card.

Recruit CRM prices its page by visitor region. The US dollar card below comes from the pricing code the page ships with, and it matches what US buyers are shown. Visitors in Europe see a separate euro card at roughly half the figure.

Beyond the rate card

What each vendor bills separately

Recruit CRM keeps five capabilities off its two cheaper plans and sells them back per user. Loxo keeps its extra capacity unpriced. Both change the real invoice more than the seat price does.

Recruit CRM workflow automation

Billed per user on Pro and Business

Included on Enterprise with 1,000 tasks a user a month. Tasks are only consumed when an automation runs successfully. On the cheaper plans it is an add-on billed across every user on the account, not just the ones who use it.

Recruit CRM data enrichment

Credits, 25 free on every plan

Enterprise includes 500 phone and email credits a user a month. On Pro and Business you buy them. Loxo Professional delivers contact information with shortlists when available, metered through its pooled credits.

Recruit CRM LinkedIn messaging and advanced analytics

Billed per user on Pro and Business

Free on Enterprise. Both are charged on the total number of users on the account, which is the line that quietly doubles the bill for a firm that adds researchers or coordinators as users.

Recruit CRM job multiposting

Credits outside Enterprise

Enterprise includes 10 multiposted jobs a user a month across 5,000+ channels. One credit covers one job posted to any number of boards in a campaign.

Data migration on both sides

Free CSV import, paid full migration

Recruit CRM: free self-serve Excel or CSV import, or a paid migration priced on data volume that takes 10 to 14 business days. Loxo: free migration on Core at three or more seats, fixed packages otherwise.

Loxo credit boost and renewal

Not published

Loxo prints the Boost allowances but not their price, and labels both seat prices a new customer limited time offer without stating the renewal rate. Ask for the renewal price in writing.

What teams actually pay

What each one actually costs, desk by desk

Published US prices multiplied out to a year. Recruit CRM rows use annual billing unless the row says monthly. Loxo has no monthly option, so every Loxo row is paid up front.

Scenario Loxo or Recruit CRM HireAgent Worth knowing
Two recruiters, cheapest route with outbound Recruit CRM Business $3,240 a year. Loxo Core $3,576 paid up front $3,588 a year (Solo, $299/mo) for one seat and three open roles Recruit CRM Pro at $2,280 is cheaper still, but its one-sequence cap makes it a poor outbound desk. On a two-person team the two systems of record sit within $336 of each other.
Three recruiters, straight seat comparison Recruit CRM Business $4,860 a year. Loxo Core $5,364. Loxo Professional $7,164 $7,992 a year (Growth, $799/mo) Recruit CRM wins on the seat. Loxo Professional is the only row here that includes a sourcing database, which is what the extra $2,304 buys.
Five recruiters on monthly billing Recruit CRM Business $9,540 a year paid monthly. Loxo has no monthly option: Core $8,940 up front $19,992 a year (Scale, $1,999/mo), or Growth if three people need logins Cash flow is where Recruit CRM is genuinely easier. Loxo asks for the full year at signing.
Five recruiters, like for like on the top AI tier Recruit CRM Enterprise $12,900 a year. Loxo Professional $11,940 paid up front $19,992 a year (Scale, $1,999/mo), or Growth if three people need logins This is the row most comparisons get backwards. At the top tier Loxo is $960 a year cheaper and adds a sourcing graph; Recruit CRM adds enrichment credits, workflow automation and a career site builder.
Ten recruiters Recruit CRM Business $16,200, Enterprise $25,800. Loxo Professional $23,880 paid up front $19,992 a year (Scale, $1,999/mo) At ten seats the gap between Recruit CRM Business and Loxo Professional is $7,680 a year. That is the budget line to weigh against whatever sourcing tool you run alongside Recruit CRM today.

Recruit CRM and Loxo are both platforms a recruiter drives: someone still writes the search, reads the profiles, decides who to contact and chases the follow-up. HireAgent plans scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume, and the agent does the sourcing, screening, ranking and first outreach, so the useful comparison is hours of recruiter time per shortlist rather than seat against seat.

Recruit CRM raised its US prices and most comparisons have not caught up

Search for Recruit CRM pricing and most of page one still quotes $85 for Pro, $125 for Business and $165 for Enterprise per user a month on annual billing. That was the rate card. The current US card, which the pricing page ships in its own code and shows to US visitors, is $95, $135 and $215 on annual billing and $109, $159 and $259 month to month. Enterprise moved the most, up $50 a seat.

Two details make the page easy to misread. First, Recruit CRM prices by region. The same page loads its figures from a pricing service that checks where the visitor is, and a visitor in Europe gets a euro card of 49, 69 and 109 a month on annual billing. If a colleague abroad sends you a screenshot, it is not the price you will pay. Second, the annual toggle says save up to 20%, but on the US card the real saving is 12.8% on Pro, 15.1% on Business and 17.0% on Enterprise. None of the three plans reaches 20% in dollars.

None of this is unusual for the category, and Recruit CRM deserves credit for publishing a dollar figure on every tier, including Enterprise, where most agency platforms print Custom. It just means the right comparison starts from $95, $135 and $215, not from the numbers in older reviews. Every plan, add-on and team size is priced out in our Recruit CRM pricing guide.

Is Recruit CRM cheaper than Loxo?

At the bottom and middle, yes. Recruit CRM Business at $135 is the like-for-like match for Loxo Core at $149: both are a full agency ATS and CRM with unlimited sequences, reporting and AI assistance over your own records, and neither includes a proprietary sourcing database. Recruit CRM is $14 a seat cheaper, $168 a user a year, and it lets you pay monthly.

At the top, no. Recruit CRM Enterprise at $215 lines up against Loxo Professional at $199, and Loxo is $16 a seat cheaper. What each adds is different. Loxo Professional adds Loxo Source, a graph of 850M+ professionals, the full agent workforce on every seat and 2,500 pooled credits a seat a month. Recruit CRM Enterprise adds workflow automation, advanced analytics, LinkedIn messaging inside the CRM, 500 enrichment credits a user a month, calling and texting credits, a career site builder and job multiposting.

So the honest answer depends on what you would buy next. If your team already pays for a sourcing tool and needs enrichment and automation, Recruit CRM Enterprise replaces several invoices. If the bottleneck is finding people at all, Loxo Professional includes the database that Recruit CRM leaves to a Chrome extension and your own LinkedIn seats.

Where each vendor puts the AI

Recruit CRM spreads its AI across all three plans but rations it. Pro includes the AI resume parser, GPT integration and AI sourcing, and it also includes candidate matching, capped at 2 matches. Business raises matching to 50 and adds resume formatting and the executive search report generator. The named AI agents on the product page, for custom field parsing, candidate submission, resume formatting and candidate pitching, work on documents and emails your recruiters already handle. Recruit CRM also ships an MCP connection so your data can be used from Claude or ChatGPT.

Loxo concentrates the AI in one step. Core has natural-language AI search over your own records and MCP. Professional switches on everything else: sourcing agents over Loxo Source, the agentic workforce, Loxo AI Chat and contact data with shortlists. There is no in-between tier, and the credits meter agent work rather than contacts, so cost per contact cannot be worked out from the page.

In practice the difference is where the candidates come from. Recruit CRM AI makes your existing pipeline faster to work. Loxo Professional also fills the pipeline from outside your database. That is the capability worth pricing, whichever vendor you pick.

Which is better for a small recruitment agency, Loxo or Recruit CRM?

For a two to five recruiter agency that sources mostly on LinkedIn and wants monthly billing, Recruit CRM Business is the better fit. It is the cheaper seat, it includes unlimited sequences, bulk texting and SSO, and nothing is paid up front. Budget for enrichment credits, since the 25 free credits run out on day one.

For an agency whose recruiters spend half their week finding people, Loxo Professional is the better fit, and on a five-seat desk it is cheaper than the Recruit CRM tier that includes enrichment. The trade is cash flow: five Professional seats is $11,940 at signing.

For a contract or temp desk, look closely at Recruit CRM. It sells timesheets, invoicing and contractor pay as a separate product line, which Loxo does not. Confirm the price of that line with sales, because it is not on the pricing page.

Five things to get in writing before you sign either one

One, from Recruit CRM, the US price for your exact seat count on annual and monthly billing, since the page is region priced. Two, which of the per-user add-ons (workflow automation, LinkedIn messaging, advanced analytics) you need, and whether they are billed on every user or only the ones who use them. The page says total users.

Three, from Loxo, the renewal price. Both seats are labeled a new customer limited time offer and the page does not state what year two costs. Four, the price of Credit Boost if one recruiter will run the agents hard, since the pool is shared. Five, from both, the migration quote and timeline in writing. Recruit CRM quotes paid migration on data volume at 10 to 14 business days; Loxo migration is free on Core at three or more seats.

What neither rate card prices

Both products are platforms a recruiter drives. Whichever one you choose, someone still writes the search, reads each profile against the brief, decides who is worth a message and chases the follow-up. On a desk carrying ten or more open reqs, that is the time that limits placements, not the ATS.

That is the gap HireAgent covers. It sources, screens and ranks candidates against the client brief, drafts personalized outreach and books interviews, and returns a shortlist with the evidence behind every score. It connects to the ATS you keep, so it can sit next to Recruit CRM or Loxo rather than replace either one. Plans start at $299 a month and scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume.

One is a lean agency ATS with add-ons, the other is a sourcing graph with an ATS attached

Whichever side wins on your numbers, what you are buying is a system of record plus a faster route to a list of names. Someone on your team still opens each profile, judges it against what the client asked for and writes the first message. HireAgent does that part: it sources, screens and ranks against the brief, drafts the outreach and hands back a shortlist with the evidence attached, next to whichever ATS you keep.

FAQ

Loxo vs Recruit CRM questions, answered

The questions buyers actually ask before they sign.

How much does Recruit CRM cost per user?

On the current US card, Recruit CRM costs $95 per user a month for Pro, $135 for Business and $215 for Enterprise on annual billing, which is $1,140, $1,620 and $2,580 a user a year. Month to month it is $109, $159 and $259. Prices are set by region, so visitors in Europe see a lower euro card.

How much does Loxo cost compared to Recruit CRM?

Loxo starts at $149 a user a month for Core and $199 for Professional, both billed annually and paid up front. Loxo Core costs $14 a seat more than Recruit CRM Business, and Loxo Professional costs $16 a seat less than Recruit CRM Enterprise while adding an 850M+ profile sourcing database.

Is Recruit CRM cheaper than Loxo?

On the entry and middle tiers, yes. Recruit CRM Pro at $95 and Business at $135 are both below Loxo Core at $149, and Recruit CRM offers monthly billing. On the top tier, no: Recruit CRM Enterprise at $215 costs more than Loxo Professional at $199.

Why do reviews say Recruit CRM costs $85?

Because $85, $125 and $165 was the previous US rate card, and many roundups have not been updated. The current US figures are $95, $135 and $215 on annual billing. If a price looks lower still, it is probably the euro card Recruit CRM shows visitors in Europe.

Does Recruit CRM have AI sourcing?

Yes. AI sourcing, the AI resume parser and GPT integration are on every plan including Pro, and a Chrome extension sources from LinkedIn and the web. What Recruit CRM does not have is its own profile database like Loxo Source, so AI sourcing works over the open web and your records.

What is the email sequence limit on Recruit CRM Pro?

Pro is limited to one email sequence. Business and Enterprise include unlimited sequences. For an agency that runs different outreach per client or per role type, that single limit is usually the reason to start on Business rather than Pro.

Which Recruit CRM features cost extra?

On Pro and Business, workflow automation, advanced analytics and LinkedIn messaging are billed per user across all users on the account, and data enrichment and job multiposting use credits. All of them are included on Enterprise, with 1,000 automation tasks, 500 enrichment credits and 10 multiposted jobs a user a month.

Does Loxo offer monthly billing?

No. Loxo states that annual plans are paid up front, and both Core and Professional are listed as billed annually. Five Professional seats is $11,940 at signing. Recruit CRM offers monthly billing on every plan at a higher monthly rate.

Does Recruit CRM or Loxo have a free trial?

Both do. Recruit CRM offers a free trial with some usage limits and lets you cancel any time. Loxo offers a 7-day trial of the full Professional platform, including Loxo Source and the agents.

Which has SSO, Loxo or Recruit CRM?

Recruit CRM includes single sign-on on its Business plan at $135 a seat. Loxo includes SSO and SAML on Enterprise, which is quoted by sales. For a firm that needs SSO on a small team, Recruit CRM is the cheaper route.

Can Recruit CRM replace Loxo?

It can replace Loxo Core, since both are agency ATS and CRM platforms. It cannot replace Loxo Professional for a team that relies on Loxo Source, because Recruit CRM has no comparable proprietary database. Teams that switch usually add a separate sourcing tool.

Stop paying for seats between reqs

Give HireAgent a role and it sources matching candidates, screens and ranks them into a shortlist you can defend, writes the outreach and books the interviews. You make the hire.
