Head to head
Manatal vs Recruit CRM pricing and cost per seat for recruitment agencies
The short answer
Manatal is about four times cheaper per seat. It costs $15, $35 or $55 per user a month on annual billing ($19, $39 or $59 monthly), with AI scoring and recommendations on every plan. Recruit CRM's US card is $95 for Pro, $135 for Business and $215 for Enterprise on annual billing ($109, $159 and $259 monthly). Three recruiters on Manatal Enterprise cost $1,260 a year; three on Recruit CRM Business cost $4,860. The gap buys agency plumbing Manatal does not sell: unlimited email sequences, bulk texting, SSO on the middle tier, a timesheets and billing module, and 24/7 support. Manatal's own comparison page prices Recruit CRM at $49 and $79 a user, which is not the US card.
Manatal figures come from manatal.com/pricing and its plan FAQ, read on 30 September 2026. Recruit CRM prices its page by visitor region, so its figures are the US dollar card from the pricing data the page ships with, read on 28 September 2026.

Beyond the rate card
The caps and add-ons that change the invoice
Manatal rations jobs on its cheapest plan. Recruit CRM rations sequences and sells five capabilities back per user below Enterprise. Either one can move the real bill further than the seat price does.
Manatal Professional job cap
15 jobs per account
Manatal states that the job limit is counted per account, not per user, and that a job is not a headcount. Three recruiters on Professional share 15 open jobs. Recruit CRM has no job cap on any plan, so the fair comparison for an agency with 20 live reqs starts at Manatal Enterprise, $35.
Recruit CRM email sequences
One on Pro
Pro allows a single automated email sequence. Business and Enterprise are unlimited. An agency that runs different outreach per client or per role type is effectively on Business at $135 from the start.
Recruit CRM per-user add-ons
Billed on TOTAL users
On Pro and Business, workflow automation, advanced analytics and LinkedIn messaging are add-ons charged across every user on the account, not only the people who use them. All three are included on Enterprise. Manatal includes workflow automation on Enterprise at $35.
Contact data on both sides
Credits or unpublished
Recruit CRM gives 25 enrichment credits on every plan and 500 phone and email credits a user a month on Enterprise; below that you buy them. Manatal lists finding phone numbers and emails under sourcing but publishes no reveal allowance. Budget a separate contact data tool on either one.
Manatal AI Interviewer
Add-on, not priced
The video screening agent is sold on top of every Manatal plan and has no figure on the pricing page. Recruit CRM has no equivalent video interviewer; its AI agents format resumes, draft submissions and write candidate pitches.
Manatal account verification
Up to 3 business days
Free job board posting, mass emailing and email automations stay off during the Manatal trial and need account verification after the first payment.
Data migration
Free import, paid full migration
Recruit CRM offers free self-serve Excel or CSV import or a paid migration priced on data volume, done by its migration engineers in about 10 to 14 business days. Manatal offers self-serve CSV and JSON import plus implementation support.

| Scenario | Manatal or Recruit CRM | HireAgent | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| One recruiter, under 15 open jobs | Manatal Professional $180 a year. Recruit CRM Pro $1,140 | $1,794 a year (Solo, billed annually) for one seat and three open roles | For a solo desk, Manatal is the obvious buy on price. Recruit CRM Pro makes sense only if you need its deal pipeline and client tracking and can live with one email sequence. |
| Three recruiters, 25 open jobs, running outbound | Manatal Enterprise $1,260 a year. Recruit CRM Business $4,860 | $4,794 a year (Growth, billed annually) for three seats and ten open roles | Outbound pushes Recruit CRM to Business for unlimited sequences; the job count pushes Manatal to Enterprise. The gap is $3,600 a year. |
| Five recruiters who need SSO | Manatal Enterprise Plus $3,300 a year. Recruit CRM Business $8,100 | $11,994 a year (Scale, billed annually) for ten seats | Both put SSO on a published plan. Manatal gets there on its top card, Recruit CRM on its middle one. |
| Five recruiters wanting automation and contact data included | Manatal Enterprise $2,100 a year plus a contact data tool. Recruit CRM Enterprise $12,900 | $11,994 a year (Scale, billed annually) | Recruit CRM Enterprise bundles 500 enrichment credits a user a month plus automation and analytics. Manatal publishes no reveal allowance, so price a contact data tool on top; even a few thousand dollars leaves Manatal well under half. |
| Ten recruiters on monthly billing | Manatal Enterprise $4,680 a year. Recruit CRM Business $19,080 | $23,988 a year (Scale, $1,999 a month billed monthly) | Both bill monthly. At ten seats the monthly gap between the two middle tiers is $1,200 a month. |
Manatal and Recruit CRM are both systems a recruiter drives: someone still writes the search, reads each profile, decides who is worth a message and chases the follow-up. HireAgent plans scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume, and the agent does the sourcing, screening, ranking and first outreach, so the useful comparison is hours of recruiter time per shortlist rather than seat against seat.
Each vendor's comparison page misprices the other
Both vendors publish a head-to-head page, and both are among the first results a buyer sees. On 30 September 2026 Manatal's Recruit CRM comparison said Recruit CRM pricing starts at $49 a user a month and put Recruit CRM Business at $79. Recruit CRM's US card, shipped in its own pricing page data, is $95 for Pro and $135 for Business on annual billing. The $49 figure matches the euro Pro price Recruit CRM shows visitors in Europe; neither figure is what a US buyer pays.
Recruit CRM's page against Manatal says its no-code automation builder is available on all plans. Its own pricing page includes workflow automation only on Enterprise, with 1,000 tasks a user a month, and sells it on Pro and Business as an add-on billed across every user on the account. Both statements can be true in a narrow sense: the builder exists on every plan, but you pay extra to run it below Enterprise.
So neither comparison page gives you the real gap. On current US prices, like for like, it is Manatal Enterprise at $35 against Recruit CRM Business at $135, about four to one. The Recruit CRM figures here follow our Recruit CRM pricing breakdown, which covers the regional cards and every add-on in detail.
Is Manatal cheaper than Recruit CRM?
Yes, on every published tier. Manatal's most expensive published plan, Enterprise Plus at $55 a user a month, costs $40 less than Recruit CRM's cheapest, Pro at $95. Paid monthly, Manatal Enterprise is $39 against Recruit CRM Business at $159.
The annual discount is also uneven, and the headline percentages hide it. Manatal's annual price saves 21% on Professional but only 10% on Enterprise and 7% on Enterprise Plus. Recruit CRM's saves about 13% on Pro, 15% on Business and 17% on Enterprise. If you plan to pay monthly, Manatal's gap widens slightly; if you pay annually for the top tier, Recruit CRM closes a little of it.
Cheaper does not mean the same product at a lower price. Manatal is built to be a low-cost AI ATS that also works for in-house HR teams. Recruit CRM is built for staffing agencies first: dual candidate and client pipelines, deal tracking, commission and revenue reporting, and a separate timesheets and invoicing module for contract desks.
Where each vendor puts the AI
Manatal puts its screening AI on every plan. AI recommendations of candidates for a job, automatic scoring, customizable weighting of criteria, match summaries and the AI Copilot, which compares and ranks candidates, are all on Professional at $15. The one AI product sold separately is the AI Interviewer.
Recruit CRM spreads its AI differently. The AI resume parser, GPT integration and natural-language AI sourcing are on Pro, but candidate matching is rationed: 2 matches on Pro, 50 on Business. Its AI agents lean toward agency admin work, formatting resumes, building candidate submissions and drafting pitch emails to clients. It also ships an MCP server, as does Manatal on Enterprise Plus.
In practice, Manatal's AI is stronger at the screening step for the money, and Recruit CRM's is stronger at the client-facing paperwork an agency repeats all day. If you want a closer look at how the screening layer compares across agency tools, see our guide to AI candidate screening software for staffing agencies.
Which is better for a small recruitment agency, Manatal or Recruit CRM?
For a one to three recruiter permanent placement agency that mostly screens applicants and sources on LinkedIn, Manatal Enterprise is the better value. Unlimited jobs, workflow automation and AI scoring for $35 a seat, monthly billing if you want it, and 30+ free job boards once the account is verified.
For an agency that lives on outbound and client management, Recruit CRM Business earns its premium. Unlimited sequences, bulk texting, 50 AI matches, SSO and the executive search report generator are all on the $135 seat, and Recruit CRM advertises 24/7 live chat support against Manatal's 24/5. Contract staffing desks should lean further toward Recruit CRM, because Manatal lists no timesheets, pay or billing features at all.
If neither fits because you need a sourcing database built in, the next step up is Loxo. Our Manatal vs Loxo and Loxo vs Recruit CRM comparisons price that jump on both sides.
Recruit CRM alternative for agencies on a budget
Agencies usually look for a Recruit CRM alternative for one of two reasons: the Business seat at $135 feels heavy for a small team, or the add-ons billed on total users made the invoice grow faster than the headcount. Manatal is the cheapest credible answer to the first problem. It does not solve the second in the same way, because Manatal's extras (the AI Interviewer, branded guest portal, own job board contracts) are unpriced add-ons of their own.
Before switching, check three things against your current Recruit CRM setup: how many active email sequences you run, whether anyone relies on the client and deal pipeline, and whether contract placements need timesheets. If the answers are few, no and no, Manatal will cost about a quarter as much for similar day-to-day use.
Five things to get in writing before you sign either one
One, from Recruit CRM, the per-user price of each add-on you need and confirmation that it is billed on all users, since that is what moves the invoice. Two, whether the US card you are quoted matches $95, $135 and $215, since the page is priced by region. Three, the cost of extra enrichment credits outside Enterprise.
Four, from Manatal, the price of the AI Interviewer if you plan to use it. Five, how many candidate contact reveals your plan includes, since the pricing page lists the feature but not the allowance.
What neither rate card prices
Both products are systems a recruiter drives. Whichever you choose, someone still writes the search, reads each profile against the brief, decides who is worth contacting and chases the follow-up. On a desk carrying ten or more open reqs, that time is what limits placements, not the ATS.
That is the gap HireAgent covers. It sources, screens and ranks candidates against the brief, drafts personalized outreach and books interviews, and returns a shortlist with the evidence behind every score. It connects to the ATS you keep, so it can sit next to Manatal or Recruit CRM rather than replace either one. Plans start at $299 a month, or $1,794 a year billed annually, and scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume.
Two agency systems of record, one priced like a utility and one like a sales platform
Whichever one wins on your numbers, you are buying a place to keep candidates, clients and placements. Someone on your team still opens each profile, judges it against what the client asked for and writes the first message. HireAgent does that part: it sources, screens and ranks against the brief, drafts the outreach and hands back a shortlist with the evidence attached, next to whichever ATS you keep.

Which is better for staffing agencies, Manatal or Recruit CRM?

Does Recruit CRM have AI candidate matching?
Yes, but it is rationed by plan: 2 candidate matches on Pro and 50 on Business. Manatal includes AI recommendations and automatic scoring with customizable weighting on every plan, including Professional at $15.

Can Manatal replace Recruit CRM?
For a permanent placement desk that mostly screens and tracks candidates, yes, at about a quarter of the cost. For a contract staffing firm that uses Recruit CRM timesheets and invoicing, or an outbound-heavy team on unlimited sequences, Manatal leaves gaps you would fill with other tools.
