On 29 September 2026 that page said Loxo packages start from $169 per user a month, and its feature table said Loxo pricing is available on request. Loxo's pricing page on the same day published Core at $149 and Professional at $199 per user a month, billed annually. Search snippets for the same comparison have also shown $119. None of those three figures is the current Loxo card except $149.

That matters because the headline most buyers take away, Manatal from $15 against Loxo from $169, overstates the gap at the bottom and says nothing about the top. The real pairings are Manatal Enterprise at $35 against Loxo Core at $149 for a working agency desk, and Manatal Enterprise Plus at $55 against Loxo Professional at $199 at the top of each published card. Loxo starts at $149 for Core and $199 for Professional. Even the most expensive published Manatal seat costs $94 less a month than the cheapest Loxo seat, and Manatal lets you pay monthly for $4 more a seat.

The price gap is real, but it is a gap between two different products. Manatal is an ATS and CRM with AI built into screening: recommendations, scoring with weights you set, an AI Copilot that compares and ranks candidates, and profile enrichment from social sites. Loxo Core is a comparable system of record. Loxo does the opposite. Core has natural-language AI search over your own records and MCP. Everything agentic sits on Professional: sourcing agents over Loxo Source, the full agent workforce on every seat, Loxo AI Chat and contact data delivered with shortlists. There is no middle tier, and the 2,500 pooled credits a seat a month meter agent work, not contacts.

In practice, Manatal's AI makes a recruiter faster at judging candidates they already have. Loxo Professional's AI also goes and gets candidates from outside your database and does the first pass on them. If your pipeline is full and screening is the bottleneck, Manatal covers most of it for $35. If your pipeline is empty, that is what the Loxo premium pays for.

For a one to five recruiter agency that sources mostly from LinkedIn and job boards, Manatal Enterprise is the better value. It includes unlimited jobs, workflow automation and AI scoring for $35 a seat, bills monthly if you want, and posts to more than 30 free job boards once the account is verified. Budget for contact data separately, because Manatal does not publish a reveal allowance.

For an agency whose recruiters lose half their week finding people for hard searches, Loxo Professional is the better fit. The talent graph and agents are what you are paying for, and on those searches the recruiter hours saved can outweigh the $2,388 seat. Manatal sells to corporate HR teams as well as agencies, and several things it includes suit in-house use: unlimited hiring managers on every plan, job requisitions, a candidate portal and internal mobility on Enterprise Plus, and a branded career page on your own domain. Loxo is built primarily for staffing and search firms, and its pricing page speaks to firms and desks rather than to company headcount.

For an in-house team hiring fewer than 15 roles at a time, Manatal Professional at $15 a user is one of the cheapest credible ATS options with AI screening included. Larger in-house teams usually end up comparing Manatal Enterprise Plus against Ashby or Greenhouse rather than against Loxo.
