Workable Pricing and Workable ATS Cost per Year With AI Credits
The short answer
Workable publishes its prices. Standard is $299 a month ($3,588 a year), Premier $599 a month ($7,188 a year) and Enterprise $719 a month ($8,628 a year), with unlimited active jobs under fair usage. The AI that sources and screens is not in those numbers. The Sourcing, Screening and Engagement agents run on AI credits: each plan includes 3,000, and extra packs cost $600 for 5,000, $1,000 for 10,000 and $4,750 for 50,000. Screening costs 1 credit per candidate and sourcing 2 credits per passive candidate, so a sourced candidate costs between $0.19 and $0.24 in credits.

What Workable actually charges

We opened workable.com/pricing on 4 November 2026. Unlike most ATS vendors it prints dollar figures. The AI agents are priced separately in credits, so both are listed.
| Plan | Price | Billing | What it covers | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Published by Workable | $299 a month, $3,588 a year | ATS and sourcing suite, the Job Brief Agent, plus HRIS, onboarding, time off, time tracking and payroll prep | Unlimited active jobs under fair usage. Add-ons: Texting+ $89, Video interviews+ $109, Assessments+ $59, Performance and Engagement+ $39 a month | A small team that wants an ATS and light HR in one account |
| Premier Published by Workable | $599 a month, $7,188 a year | Everything in Standard plus texting, video interviews, assessments, referrals and performance and engagement | Annual billing only is listed | Teams that would otherwise buy the Standard add-ons one by one |
| Enterprise Published by Workable | $719 a month, $8,628 a year | Same feature list as Premier on the page | Bought by starting a trial and purchasing in the account, no quote listed | Larger companies; the page does not say what the extra $120 a month buys |
| AI credits included Published by Workable | 3,000 per ATS plan | Used by the Sourcing, Screening and Engagement agents. Evaluate costs 1 credit per screened candidate, Source 2 credits per passive candidate added, Chat 10 credits per session | The Workable Agent is not part of the 15 day free trial | Roughly 1,500 sourced candidates or 3,000 screened ones before you pay more |
| Credit packs Published by Workable | $600 / $1,000 / $4,750 | 5,000 credits at $0.12, 10,000 at $0.10, 50,000 at $0.095 each. Above 50,000 is a custom package from sales | Credits expire a year after purchase and are non-refundable | Teams whose sourcing volume outgrows the included credits |
| Cost per sourced candidate Our arithmetic | $0.19 to $0.24 in credits | Our arithmetic from the page: 2 credits per passive candidate at $0.095 to $0.12 a credit | Excludes the subscription, screening credits and recruiter time | Comparing against a flat monthly sourcing plan |
Before you budget
What moves a Workable bill past the plan price
The plan price is the floor. These are the lines that change it.
AI credits
Usage based
Sourcing and screening agents spend credits, so the bill follows volume. 1,000 sourced candidates is 2,000 credits, 1,000 screened is another 1,000.
Add-ons on Standard
$39 to $109 a month each
Texting, video interviews and assessments cost $257 a month together on Standard. That is why Premier at $599 exists, and worth pricing before you choose.
Billing term
Annual saves 20%
The page says annual billing saves 20%. Confirm on the toggle which figure you are looking at, because Premier and Enterprise list annual only.
Employee size
Not shown
The page sorts companies from 1 to 20 up to 1,000 and over, but shows no price change by size. Ask sales whether your headcount moves the number.
Credit expiry
One year
Packs lapse 12 months after purchase and are not refunded. Buy against a plan, not a hope.
What teams actually pay
Workable cost per year against HireAgent, at three hiring shapes
Workable column is the published plan plus the credits the AI work would need, from the page. HireAgent is the listed plan on annual billing, and it runs next to the ATS you already have. Neither column is a quote.
| Scenario | Workable (published) | HireAgent | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 roles open, 3 recruiters, 2,000 sourced candidates a year | $3,588 Standard plus about $480 in credits beyond the included 3,000, $4,068 a year | $4,794 a year (Growth, 3 seats, up to 10 open roles, ATS integration) | Workable is cheaper if you want an ATS with some AI. HireAgent is for a team that wants the shortlist delivered and keeps its ATS. |
| 40 roles open, 10 recruiters, 10,000 sourced candidates a year | $7,188 Premier plus about $2,000 in credits (20,000 used, 3,000 included), $9,188 a year | $11,994 a year (Scale, 10 seats, up to 40 open roles, SSO) | The gap narrows once volume rises, because credits scale and a plan price does not. |
| 120 roles open, 30 recruiters, 40,000 sourced candidates a year | $8,628 Enterprise plus about $8,000 in credits, around $16,600 a year | $35,982 a year (Enterprise, 3 Scale units, up to 120 open roles) | At this scale ask Workable for a custom credit package and compare it with the seats you need. |
Workable figures from workable.com/pricing, 4 November 2026, credits priced at $0.12 on the 5,000 pack. HireAgent plans scale with seats, open roles and sourcing volume and include sourcing, screening and outreach in the plan price.
What Workable publishes, read on 4 November 2026
workable.com/pricing shows three plans with dollar figures: Standard at $299 a month, Premier at $599 and Enterprise at $719. All three list unlimited active jobs under fair usage. The page also prints the cost of its AI agents in credits, which is rarer than the plan prices themselves.
The 15 day free trial needs no card, but the Workable Agent is not part of it, so you cannot test the sourcing and screening agents before you buy.
How much does Workable cost?
For a small team, $3,588 a year on Standard is the entry point and $7,188 on Premier is where video, assessments and texting come included. Add credit packs once the 3,000 included credits are spent: $600 for 5,000 is the smallest.
That makes Workable one of the few ATS vendors you can budget from the website. Our survey of AI recruiting software pricing shows how unusual that is.
Does Workable charge per user?
Not on the page we read. The plans show a flat monthly price and list "additional permission sets" without a user limit or per seat rate. Employee size tiers are shown, but no price changes by tier on the page, so confirm with sales that your headcount does not move the number.
How much do Workable AI credits cost?
Packs are $600 for 5,000 credits ($0.12 each), $1,000 for 10,000 ($0.10) and $4,750 for 50,000 ($0.095). Screening a candidate takes 1 credit and adding a passive candidate through sourcing takes 2, so a sourced candidate costs between $0.19 and $0.24 in credits before the subscription.
It is a fair usage model, and it means the bill rises with how hard you source. Predictable monthly volume suits a flat plan better, which is how HireAgent is priced.
When Workable is worth it, and what it does not do for you
Workable is worth its price when you want an ATS, light HR tools and careers pages from one vendor, and a team to run the pipeline. At $3,588 a year it is among the cheaper complete ATS options.
The sourcing and screening agents are priced as usage on top, and you still review, message and schedule yourself. An AI recruiting agent fills that gap: HireAgent sources candidates against your criteria, screens and ranks them into an explainable shortlist, drafts the outreach and books interviews. Compare Ashby pricing and Lever pricing if the ATS itself is up for replacement.
Need open roles filled, not more credits to manage?
HireAgent sources candidates against your criteria, screens and ranks them into an explainable shortlist, drafts the outreach and books the interviews, next to the ATS you already run. Plans start at $299 a month, published.

FAQ
Workable pricing questions, answered
The questions buyers actually ask before they sign.
How much does Workable cost?
Workable lists Standard at $299 a month ($3,588 a year), Premier at $599 ($7,188 a year) and Enterprise at $719 ($8,628 a year), read on 4 November 2026. AI credits for the sourcing and screening agents are extra beyond the 3,000 included.
Does Workable have a free trial?
Yes, 15 days with no credit card. The page says the trial does not include the Workable Agent, so the AI sourcing and screening agents are not part of it.
How much do Workable AI credits cost?
A 5,000 pack is $600, 10,000 is $1,000 and 50,000 is $4,750, so $0.095 to $0.12 a credit. Credits expire after a year and are not refundable.
What does Workable AI sourcing cost per candidate?
Sourcing a passive candidate takes 2 credits, so $0.19 to $0.24 per candidate in credits by our arithmetic, before the plan price and screening credits.
Is Workable worth it for a small recruiting team?
Often yes if you need an ATS and HR tools at a published price, but you still do the reviewing and outreach. A team with a few recruiters and 10 to 40 open roles can get a shortlist delivered by an agent beside the ATS.
What adds AI sourcing and screening on top of Workable?
HireAgent sources, screens, ranks and drafts outreach from $299 a month or $1,794 a year, with no implementation fee, and connects to your ATS so approved candidates land in the pipeline.
