The short answer

The right Beamery alternative depends on which part of Beamery you actually use. For skills-based workforce planning at enterprise scale, Eightfold and Phenom are the like-for-like rivals, and both cost six figures. For a talent CRM with sourcing, Gem and Findem cover most of the ground. For sourcing alone at a published price, SeekOut starts at $149 a month for three seats and Juicebox at $99 a seat. If the job is filling this quarter's open roles, HireAgent sources, screens and ranks candidates and drafts the outreach from $299 a month. Beamery itself publishes no price; Vendr shows a $76,797 median.

Vendor prices below were read on each vendor's own page or store listing on the date in our pricing pages. Contract figures marked Vendr are buyer-reported medians, not list prices.

Beamery alternatives compared on price and the job they replace

Beamery sells a lot of software under one name. Its site lists a data platform for skills and tasks, a Workforce Intelligence Suite, an Execution Suite for AI sourcing, matching and engagement, an AI consultant called Ray, and a talent acquisition stack of CRM, sourcing, talent marketing, events, career sites and analytics. Most teams that shop for an alternative are using two or three of those pieces and paying for the deployment as a whole.

That is why "alternative" means different things to different buyers. A global employer replacing Beamery's workforce planning needs another enterprise platform. A TA team that mainly uses the CRM and sourcing screens can move to something far smaller. Our Beamery pricing breakdown shows what deals actually run, from about $24,717 a year for one module to about $204,153 for the full platform, and traces the unsourced $220,000 figure that still circulates.

The table sorts the realistic replacements by the Beamery job they take over.

Which Beamery alternative fits which team

Start with what you would miss. If the answer is the skills taxonomy and workforce planning, you are buying another enterprise platform and the budget stays in five or six figures. If the answer is the CRM pipeline and the sourcing search, the market below Beamery is wide and mostly priced in the open. If the answer is "nothing, we just need roles filled", the real question is whether a platform was the right purchase.

Enterprise talent intelligence: Eightfold and Phenom

Eightfold is the closest match to Beamery's data story. It models skills across your employees and candidates and uses that for hiring, internal mobility and workforce planning. It is also the only one of the big three to show a number anywhere: a Starter Edition on the SAP Store at USD 25,000 a quarter with a one-year minimum, priced by employee count. That puts the floor at $100,000 a year, above Beamery's median. Our Eightfold AI pricing post walks through the listing.

Phenom leans harder into the candidate side: career sites, chatbots, CRM campaigns and an employee experience layer for internal moves. Vendr shows a median of $98,313 a year with a range of $37,500 to $112,278. Pick Phenom over Beamery when the career site and candidate experience are the priority; pick Eightfold when skills data drives decisions beyond recruiting.

Talent CRM and sourcing: Gem and Findem

Gem began as a sourcing and sequencing CRM and now sells two packages, Gem with your ATS and Gem All-in-One, both priced by company headcount. It no longer publishes the per-seat prices that older comparisons quote. The one number on its page is a Startup Program for companies of 1 to 10 FTE at $130 a month billed yearly. For a mid-sized company that wants Beamery's CRM without the workforce planning, Gem is the usual first call; see Gem pricing for how the quote is built.

Findem pairs a large people data layer with CRM, outreach and, since buying Glider AI in March 2026, interviewing and verification. Its own AWS Marketplace listing shows a Talent License at $25,000 for 12 months plus usage fees, and Vendr shows a $58,000 median. Findem suits teams that want attribute-based search over a database Findem maintains rather than one they build themselves.

Sourcing at a published price: SeekOut, hireEZ and Juicebox

If Beamery's Sourcing and Matching module is the part your recruiters live in, a dedicated sourcing tool replaces it for a fraction of the cost. SeekOut Recruit Core is $149 a month on annual billing or $179 monthly and includes three seats, with 500 contact credits for the account; a fourth seat forces a quote. hireEZ publishes one figure, $494 a month for a solo recruiter. Juicebox starts at $99 a seat on annual billing and sells AI agents at $199 each a month with unlimited contact credits.

None of these runs a career site, events or a skills model. They find people and help you contact them. For many teams that left Beamery, that turned out to be the part they used every day.

What does a Beamery alternative cost for a mid-sized team?

Take a company with 40 open roles and 10 recruiters. On Vendr's median, Beamery runs about $76,797 a year before migration, customization and training, which buyers report as separate lines. Eightfold's published starter edition is $100,000 a year and Phenom's Vendr median is $98,313, so moving sideways to another enterprise platform does not save money.

Moving down does. SeekOut Core covers three sourcing seats for $1,788 a year, though a team of ten would be pushed onto a quoted plan, where Vendr's median is $20,000. Ten Juicebox Growth seats would cross its five-seat cap, so a team that size is looking at the Business plan, which is quoted. HireAgent Scale covers 10 seats and up to 40 open roles for $11,994 a year, with no implementation fee, and does the screening and ranking that the sourcing tools leave to recruiters.

The honest comparison is not price alone. A sourcing tool or an agent does not replace Beamery's workforce planning or its internal mobility features. If those features are live and used, keep them or move to Eightfold. If they were sold and never adopted, you are paying enterprise rates for a sourcing search.

Is Beamery worth replacing?

Replace Beamery when renewal is coming and usage tells you most of the platform is idle. The signs are familiar: recruiters search in the sourcing screen and send campaigns, but nobody opens the workforce intelligence dashboards, the skills taxonomy was never finished, and the career site runs on something else. In that case you are paying for the deployment, not the work.

Keep Beamery when it is wired into Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, feeds internal mobility for tens of thousands of employees and powers skills-based planning that finance and HR leadership actually use. Few tools replace that, and the switching cost of a migration is real. Teams in that position that want more help on internal moves sometimes add an AI career mentor for employees next to the platform rather than tearing it out.

Check the vendor side too. Beamery raised about $223 million and was valued at $1 billion in 2022, then reported staff cuts of about 12% in January 2023 and 25% in November 2023. Before a multi-year renewal, ask which modules have dedicated engineering teams and get support response times in the contract.

What is the best Beamery alternative for filling open roles?

If what you need is shortlists for the roles open right now, software that does the recruiting work is a better fit than a second talent platform. HireAgent takes a role brief, sources matching candidates, screens and ranks them against structured criteria into a shortlist with the evidence behind every score, drafts personalized outreach and books interviews with anyone who replies. A person approves every decision. It works next to the ATS you already run and does not need a migration project.

It does not do workforce planning, career sites or events, and it is not trying to. Plans are $299, $799 and $1,999 a month, or half that per month on annual billing, sized by seats and open roles. If your team mostly ranks inbound applicants, read candidate ranking software; if it mostly hunts for people who never applied, start with AI sourcing software.

Beamery alternatives questions, answered

What are the main Beamery competitors?

The like-for-like Beamery competitors are Eightfold AI and Phenom, both enterprise talent platforms with skills data and internal mobility. Gem and Findem compete on talent CRM and sourcing. SeekOut, hireEZ and Juicebox compete only on sourcing, at published or lower prices.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Beamery?

Yes, if you do not need workforce planning. SeekOut Core is $149 a month for three seats, Juicebox starts at $99 a seat, and HireAgent covers sourcing, screening and ranking for 10 seats and 40 roles at $11,994 a year. Beamery's Vendr median is $76,797 before services.

Beamery vs Eightfold, which costs more?

On the published figures, Eightfold. Its SAP Store Starter Edition is $100,000 a year with a one-year minimum, while Beamery's Vendr median is $76,797 and its low observed deal about $24,717. Both quote everything above entry level, so the real comparison is two written quotes for the same modules.

Beamery vs Phenom, which is better?

Phenom is the stronger pick when the career site, chatbot and candidate experience matter most. Beamery is stronger on skills and workforce intelligence. Vendr shows Phenom at a $98,313 median against Beamery's $76,797, so neither is the budget option.

What is a good Beamery alternative for a small recruiting team?

A small team rarely needs a talent platform. A sourcing tool such as SeekOut Core or Juicebox, or an agent such as HireAgent that also screens and ranks, covers the daily work at a published monthly price and needs no implementation project.
